Awens to All:

I maintain Three Different Sacred Groves as part of my Druidism and here they are.

My #1 Primary Sacred Grove:

In March of 2006, I read in the local Community Newspaper a Story about a Fish Kill in a Local Creek called Byrne Creek. In the article was the URL for the Byrne Creek Streamkeepers, so I clicked on it and liked what I saw, so I took down the Time and Date of their Next Meeting. I then attended their Next Meeting.

I arrived at the Meeting and they made me feel Welcome and Comfortable. Their Meeting Major Subject was the Fish Kill that had happened. During the Meeting, they Scheduled a Fish Count Survey for the Next Week, which I attended.

When they did that Fish Count, all of the Traps that were put out came back with nothing. They were a bunch of Very Unhappy Streamkeepers! They also did some Bug Counts, and those results were also Very Disappointing!

In the Next Month, they had several events of releasing New Fish into the Creek.

In the Next Few Years, I went off to several Festivals in which they set up their Information Booths. There was the Stoney Creek Salmon Sendoff Festival, the Taste of Edmonds Festival, and the Night of Lanterns Autumnal Equinox. I even went to a Silent Auction Event at the Firemen's Club near Metrotown, at which I did a Successfull Silent Bid for a Lockblade Knife (which I have since Lost!), which has now been Officially Blessed and Consecrated on Summer Solstice along with my Streamkeeping Walking Staff.

Here is a Map of Byrne Creek:

The Red Triangles show where exactly Byrne Creek Runs.

And here is a Picture of approximately where on the Lower Mainland Byrne Creek Watershed Runs:

Since I have made this my Primary Sacred Grove, then I will (so long as I live on the West Coast of British Columbia) work steadfastly for the Preservation of this Watershed and its Protection against becoming Contaminated with Chemicals and Waste of our Modern Technological World.

And here is the Temple Meditation Room:

And here is a Video of this Sacred Grove:

My Third Sacred Grove is the Joe Dec Spring:

When I first came to know of it on September 1oth 2002 when I went Camping with Two Friends when we wished to get away from the Propoganda Broadcasts of the First Anniversary of the WTC Attacks.

Here is how it used to appear then:

The story of this Grove is that the Original Settler who claimed the Land was a guy named Joe Dec. He put it into his Will that this Spring should always be allowed to Freely Flow so that people can come and take Good Natural Spring Water for Free. Here is the Plaque that used to be on the Fountain:

But since then, the Mission Health Department tore it down and it now appears like this:

I Spray Painted the Power Pole Yellow to that people can not miss it as they Drive By.

I even have this Grove pictured on Google Earth too:

And here is a Video of this Fountain taken during a Sacred Sabbath Visitation:

I Love this Grove because it will always be Preserved as per Joe Dec's Will so it can never be taken away from me.

Awens to All:

Being back at Work, I have my Car back on the Road and am able to go to my Sacred Grove at the BVS Buddhist Temple and yesterday I was able to go there and get some Work done for a few hours.

I cleared away some more Grass from the Sunchoke Patch and while digging the Weeds, I came upon a chunk of Plastic Sheet that was embedded in the Ground. Seeing as Sunchoke is likely not able to grow very well amongst Plastic, I decided to dig the Plastic out of the Sunchoke Bed.

It took me about a Half Hour to get it dug out of the Ground and here is the Old Dirty Sheet of Plastic next to the Trench after getting it removed out of the Ground:

While Digging Up the Plastic, I also dug up a few chunks of Sunchoke which I broke apart and Replanted back into the Trench that I took the Plastic out of. Here is the Trench after I finished Planting the Sunchoke Bulb and put some Good Black Dirt on top of it:

It was Fun working on my Buddhist Temple Community Garden yesterday.

After doing that, I went back to my Legion to get a few more things done and I ended up Winning their Meat Raffle Twice. So I considered my Winning the Meat Raffle being the Good Karma I created at the Buddhist Temple coming back to me.

Re: My Three Sacred Groves

Awens to All:

Last Saturday, I got to attend the Grand Opening of the New Temple Building of the Buddhist Vihara Temple of Surrey.

After taking care of some Morning Repairs at my Legion Club, I went Home and got into my Druid Robes which are the same Robes that I had on at the 2006 Summer Solstice Gathering at The Sacred Stonehenge. I also took along my Last Little Airline Bottle full of Sacred White Spring Water that I got from the Glastonbury Tor.

When I got there, they were putting the Finishing Touches on the Temple Building. I then commenced Walking around the Temple Building Three Times in a Clock Wise Direction in order to give it a Druidistic Blessing and Consecration. After that, I Walked the rest of the Temple Grounds in order to give it a Blessing and Consecration.

Then the rest of the Devotees started arriving and some Chinese Buddhist Monks arrived and had a Planter with Orchids in it. I was at the Right Place & the Right Time to get to help bringing in this Heavy Planter of Orchids into the Temple Building where I gave the Orchids a Splash of Glastonbury Tor White Spring Water.

Then all the Monks came out and filed into the Temple Building and then we all got to take Turns Lighting Commemorative Candles on a Long Table in order to set the Mood for the Opening Ceremony:

After Lighting the Candles, the Monks started doing something called a 'Jayamangala Gatha' Chant which I recorded into my Cell Phone and posted onto YouTube:
 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnmUy_wJ-Cc

And after they finished that, they proceeded with the rest of the Agenda, and here is a Picture of the Program:

After the Speeches were over, the Devotees got to contribute pinches of Rice for the Buddha and I went about giving the Temple little Splashes of Glastonbury Tor White Spring Water starting with the Buddha Statue, the Four Sides of the Temple Building and then around the Community Garden which included their Jerusalem Artichoke Patch as well as my Allotment. I also gave a few Devotees a Small Splash of White Spring Water including a Tibetan Monk.

With that done, the Devotees went off to have Dinner, but I had to go in order to get something important done.

But it was My Pleasure having attended this Buddhist Temple Grand Opening Ceremony as a Respresentative of Cletic Druidism as well as Celtic Buddhism.

Yesterday, I went to my Buddhist Temple Sacred Grove and did some Volunteer Saramadana Gardening pulling out Weeds from their Sunchoke Patch and while doing so, I got a Picture of the First Sunchoke Sprout that has come up.

Here it is:

And I put up a Flag Marker so that others are able to find it easier:
