Awens to All:

When on my way back from doing a spot of Shopping, I came upon a Blub laying on the Grass that showed signs of Sprouting:

I picked it up and took it Home with me and I have called it "The Xmas Mystery Bulb".  I have Planted it into a Pot on my Balcony and am looking forward to it Growing to see what sort of Plant this Bulb could be.
It could be a Daffodil or a Tulip or something else completely different.  It is definitely not some sort of Garlic or Onion as it does not have that sort of Smell.

It will be Fun to watch it Grow to see what sort of Plant the Bulb turns out to be.

Re: Xmas Mystery Bulb

Here is a Mystery Plant that I have encountered this Season in Landscaping. It appears to be some sort of Ornamental Moss that has gone Out Of Control in Surrey and Delta Gardens this Season.

What exactly is it? Is it some sort of Foreign Invasive Moss or Plant?

Here is a couple of Pictures of it.

Here is one of it in a Bed:

And one on a Rock:

And one posed on a Scoop Shovel:

The first time I saw it was last Spring when it started Growing in the Legion Cenotaph Flower Beds. Since then, I have noticed it has gone Out Of Control throughout a lot of my Landscaping Sites and I want to know if there are any Funcides that could be used to get rid of them.

Re: Xmas Mystery Bulb

My first thoughts were that it looks a little like a shallot, but if it doesn't smell like one it probably isn't. Do let us know how it develops and what it grows into, it's an interesting story :)

Awens to you,
